Every edition of SHAHU AWARDS will clearly publish its eligibility criteria, judging process, submission guidelines, important dates and artist opportunities before evaluation begins.
Future exhibitions, publications, Venice initiatives and international opportunities may vary between editions depending upon confirmed partnerships, sponsorships, programme development and organisational resources.
Artists retain copyright to their submitted work. SHAHU AWARDS requests permission only to display submitted material for judging and promotional purposes relating to the awards.

How are artists selected?
Applications are reviewed on artistic merit, originality and overall presentation.
Will winners exhibit in Venice?
Future editions may include independent exhibition opportunities in Venice during the international art season, subject to programme development, confirmed partnerships and available resources.
Do artists retain copyright?
Yes. Artists always retain ownership of their work.
Can I submit multiple works?
Submission guidelines for each edition will specify the number of entries permitted.
Is SHAHU affiliated with the Venice Biennale?
No. SHAHU AWARDS is an independent international awards platform. Any future Venice exhibitions or cultural programmes will be independently organised.
