SHAHU Awards – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application to SHAHU Awards (“SHAHU”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
Applications are open worldwide unless otherwise stated.
Applicants must ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Artwork Ownership
Applicants retain full copyright and ownership of their submitted artworks.
By submitting, applicants grant SHAHU Awards a non-exclusive worldwide license to:
- Display submitted work
- Publish shortlisted and winning entries
- Use submitted images for exhibition, promotion, social media, website, catalogues and press releases.
Copyright always remains with the artist.
4. Submission Fees
Submission fees are charged per artwork.
Current fees:
- First Artwork — USD $49
- Additional Artwork — USD $19
Fees may change without prior notice for future submission periods.
5. Submission Deadline
Each edition has a published submission deadline.
Applicants are responsible for reviewing the published dates before completing payment.
6. Jury Decisions
All jury decisions are final.
No correspondence regarding judging decisions will be entered into.
7. Disqualification
SHAHU reserves the right to reject or disqualify entries that:
- contain illegal content
- infringe copyright
- contain offensive material
- provide false information
- violate these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
SHAHU Awards is not responsible for:
- technical failures
- internet interruptions
- payment provider outages
- delays outside our reasonable control.
9. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be published on SHAHU.org.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
